KIEP 250+ is a 4-year programme that consists of six SME cohorts. Each cohort consists of 40-50 SMEs who will benefit from the project’s performance based grant funding to improve their businesses by enhancing productivity, market linkages as well as use of technology and innovation to make them more competitive locally, regionally and globally.
The SMEs Cohort 2 call for applications window was opened on 11th August, 2023 and was closed on 15th September, 2023. Several applications were received and evaluated against the eligibility criteria. The following SMEs moved to diagnosis phase as the successful applicants in Cohort 2.
Signum Fresh Fruit Exporters Ltd
Signum’s principal activity is the exportation of fruits, vegetables to Europe (Spain and Turkey) and the Middle East (United Arab Emirates). They want to expand their footprint into Asia (China and Malaysia).
Their products specifically include: Avocado, Mango, Passion Fruits, Pineapple, Capsicum, French Beans and Chillies.
Signum prides itself in providing quality produce and services and has a recognized deep experience in the horticulture industry.
Through KIEP 250+, Signum Fresh Fruit Exporters aims to enhance their export competitiveness through the integration of a cold room facility, automation of business processes, and developing an effective marketing strategy
Nairobi Realnet Investments Limited
Mabati Yetu is a registered trademark of Nairobi Realnet Investments. Mabati Yetu is a leading manufacturer and supplier of quality and affordable roofing mabati, gypsum channels and studs and roof flashings for both residential and commercial buildings. They have a factory located in the Embakasi area.
It’s a member of the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM). All their roofing mabati profiles are certified by KEBS. They help elevate your project by providing Roofing Sheets, Stone Coated Roofing Tiles, Light Gauge Steel, Gypsum solutions, Flat Roof Solutions, uPVC Gutters, SPC Flooring, Wall panels and Affordable Housing Technologies.
The KIEP 250+ project will assist Nairobi Realnet Investments Limited to drive innovation through streamlining production and boosting sales. This will be achieved by implementing a data acquisition system and developing an e-commerce platform.
Premier Frisch EPZ Ltd
Premier Frisch (EPZ) Ltd is a fresh produce grower and exporter. Main products include French Peas, Snow Peas, Sugar Snaps, Garden Peas, Passion Fruit. Premier has its own farm in Masinga, Machakos County but also works with other contracted farmers in Muranga, Kithimani in Machakos, Timau in Meru and Nyandarua Areas. Premier’s main markets are in Europe (Netherlands, France) and Canada.
The KIEP 250+ project will enable Premier Frisch EPZ Limited to strengthen their market competitiveness and export efficiency by conducting training programs ensuring phytosanitary regulations and developing marketing strategies for expansion.
Taifa Business Limited
Taifa Business Limited is a manufacturing enterprise established in 2018 that deals with food production specifically bread, pastries and other bakery products. The company also supplies ingredients to other companies that bake bread. The company is unique and without much competition as they are the only established bakery in the Marsabit county. The main customers of the business include retailers such as kiosks, supermarkets and institutions such as hospitals and schools in the county.
Taifa Business Limited aspires to leverage technology and efficient operations to drive innovation, ensure financial stability, and excel in overall business performance. This will be achieved by process mapping, documentation, and automation of business processes, integration of an e-commerce platform, and implementing a sustainable energy solution. This will be achieved through funding from the KIEP 250+ project.

The KIEP 250+ project will allow Taimba Limited to optimize their supply chain and grow revenue by upgrading their current app to incorporate Material Resource Planning and AI and install a cold chain unit.

Pynts Ltd. has a wide variety of products and services even as it continues to develop them to meet an ever-growing client base. Some of the core products and services include:
– Milk processing and supply to clients
– Tomato sauce which is an end product from tomatoes from the farm.
– Supply and delivery of yogurt and cheese.
– Supply and delivery of meat.
Pynts Limited will increase their capacity for daily milk collection, create capacity for milk processing and increase market size and product traceability by transitioning to higher margin and longer shelf-life dairy and installing an automation system.
Kenlinks Limited
Kenlinks operates within the dairy value chain, specializing in the aggregation of raw milk and the distribution of animal feeds to farmers. The company plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between smallholder dairy farmers and market for their milk. The target markets for the milk are the milk processors. In addition to milk aggregation, Kenlinks is actively involved in the sale of animal feeds to farmers and other inputs. This facet of the business supports dairy farmers in optimizing the nutrition of their livestock.
Through funding from the KIEP 250+ project, Kenlinks Limited will be able to increase their revenue streams and expansion capacity by designing and implementing a commercialized extension service model and improvement of milk cooling capacity, and implementing a marketing plan for the value-added production.
Wamu Investments Ltd
Wamu Investments are exporters of fresh fruits, herbs and vegetables. They source produce from own farms and small-scale farmers and pack this to different customer specifications. Their customers are based largely in Europe (Belgium, UK, Netherlands). Their headquarters is in Embakasi – Nairobi where all produced collected from the farmers is delivered to for processing. Their products include French beans, snow peas, sugar snaps, broccoli, chilies, baby vegetables, herbs, Asian vegetables, passion fruits, mangoes and avocadoes. Wamu’s vision is to achieve global recognition as a fresh produce exporter of choice by expanding the market share and operating profitably while producing hygienically safe and quality horticultural produce.
The KIEP 250+ project will increase productivity for Wamu Investments Limited by adoption climate-smart techniques. This is achieved through the adoption of climate-smart farming techniques and developing a comprehensive marketing strategy.
Deevabits Green Energy Limited
Deevabits Green Energy (DGE) acts as a retailer in the renewable energy sector. Their role is to directly deliver sustainable energy solutions to consumers, prioritizing both accessibility and affordability. They offer PAYGo solar energy devices and smartphones for off-grid rural communities in Kenya.
Through their PAYGo system, customers purchase these products in manageable installments. Their unique Village Social Entrepreneurs (VSEs) model ensures products reach remote areas and supports local employment.
Deevabits Green Energy Limited aims to increase productivity by technological integration and development and investor relations compliance and outreach through funding from the KIEP 250+ project.
Wedgehut Foods Limited
Wedgehut is a supplier of fresh ready to cook potatoes in different cuts, French fries’ chips, potato wedges, whole potatoes, lyonnaise potatoes and potato cubes. Wedgehut was established to provide a solution to the problem of post-harvest losses, enhancing access to markets. Wedgehut’s model is based on contract with small holder famers across the country in the potato -growing zones. They encourage irrigation farming to ensure a consistent supply even during low rainfalls periods. Through partnerships with key players in the industry, they also encourage adaptation of smart farming and modern practices for maximum output per acre and this helps meet the potato demands in the country.
The KIEP 250+ project will assist Wedgehut Foods Limited in improving productivity through adoption of food safety standards based on ISO 22000 certification, conducting market research, and capacity building.
Angaza Foods
Angaza Foods is an export company that started operations in 2017 and registered in 2019. They buy fruits from farmers, process them in Nairobi and ship them to our customers in Europe, Middle East & Asia. They work with smallholder almost 4000 farmers in Nakuru and Embu counties. Angaza also extrude and export oil from avocadoes that do not meet export quality.
Angaza Foods Limited aims to use funding from the KIEP 250+ Project to enhance product and market diversification by expanding to crude avocado oil export and implementing a farmer management and traceability system.
Food and Us Ltd
Food and Us Limited procure 3,500-4,000 liters of milk from small holder farmers and process this into milk, yoghurt and Maziwa Lala for the bottom of the pyramid clientele through 5800 outlets/kiosks.
Food and Us Limited will enhance efficiency, competitiveness, productivity, and growth by developing a digital business strategy to rope in micro-enterprises and reduce supply chain inefficiencies by using a B2C interface through funding from the KIEP 250+ project
Saipei Foods Limited
Saipei Foods is an exporter fresh fruits and vegetables.
Their core product is avocado, mainly Hass and Fuerte varieties. Their main markets are Europe (Spain, Turkey, Netherlands), Middle East and Asia. They are diversifying into the supply of frozen avocado pulp
Saipei’s team comprises of qualified individuals who have the necessary knowledge in fresh produce and years of experience to respond to today’s challenging fresh produce needs.
The KIEP 250+ project will allow Saipei Foods Limited to enhance their market differentiation, competitiveness, productivity and growth by developing a new project which addresses PHL in avocado (ready to eat frozen avocados and guacamole) and by installing a processing equipment line-up.
Batian Nuts Limited
Batian Nuts is an agro-processing business that that deals with purchase of edible nuts from Small-Holder Farmers for processing and marketing to local and export buyers.
The KIEP 250+ project will provide funding to Batian Nuts Limited to enhance product quality for improved market competitiveness by supply chain integration through digitization and energy use re-calibration and source diversification through incorporating solar energy.
Tai's Farm Limited
Tai’s Farm Limited grow, process, grade and directly sell chicken and pork products. Tai’s have a poultry and pig farm, a processing center and retail outlets in form of butcheries and restaurants. Tai’s product categories are full chicken, chicken cuts, pork cuts, eggs, hot & cold beverages, French fries, cooked vegetables and assorted bites. From the processing center, we have integrated both backwards into farming and forward into retail sales. The farm has broiler chicken, pigs, a drip irrigated vegetable garden and heifers. The backward integration includes other processes such as production of briquettes as a fuel source for the farm and chicken grilling at the retail outlets. The pig farm food source is highly complemented by the processing and retail outlets wastes. At the processing center, we grade and pack different chicken and pork cuts from our farm and other farmers. Tai’s retail outlets are divided into butcheries and fast foods. The butcheries sell raw chicken, raw pork and eggs. The fast foods sell chicken as the main dish with accompaniments such as chips, veggies and beverages.
Tai’s Farm Limited aims to conduct a market study on a franchise model and establish seven franchised outlets through funding from the KIEP 250+ Project.
Kenya Poultry Farmers Limited
The company’s primary offerings include Broiler chicken, improved Kienyeji chicken, day-old chicks, eggs, chicken feeds, and poultry equipment. Also, the business offers technical support services to poultry farmers where we train them on smart farming increasing their production capacity and profit margin.
The KIEP 250+ Project will enable Kenya Poultry Farmers Limited to increase their productivity by developing and implementing a marketing campaign and digitizing financial and inventory management processes.
Enchantment Africa Limited
Enchantment Africa Limited is an innovative agricultural processing enterprise that aims to revolutionize the way crops are transformed into high-quality, value-added products. Enchantment Africa Ltd is in the business of agro-processing and value addition of feeds for animal husbandry.
They have established strong partnerships with distributors and retailers, both domestically and internationally. They have implemented strict waste to improve the environmental sustainability of operations.
Enchantment Africa Limited aims to use the funding from the KIEP 250+ project to increase productivity by refining their business model, market expansion, and automation of production processes.
Crove Unique Limited
Crove Unique Limited specializes in the export of Kenyan tea and also providing value addition to it. The company sources high-quality tea directly from Kenyan tea growers, and processors. They are in the process of opening a factory to start local packaging to create unique and customized tea products.
The KIEP 250+ project will allow Crove Unique Limited to automate their operational processes and enhance their marketing strategy for domestic entry.
Miyonga Fresh Greens Ent Ltd
Miyonga Fresh Greens, a Kenyan family business, exports fresh, dried, and powdered fruits to Europe, with a focus on Mango, Pineapple, and Banana value chains. The company empowers smallholder farmers to reduce post-harvest waste and losses while delivering international-standard products. Kenyan rural farmers grow high-value tropical fruits, but much of it goes to waste. We work with 3,662 smallholder farmers, offering Global Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and organic farming training. Champion farmers also receive Food Safety Training and operate the mobile processing unit, transferring knowledge and generating additional income.
Miyonga Fresh Greens Enterprises Limited aims to their revenue by increasing production capacity and the introduction of a circular economy, which will enhance the value addition of their fresh fruits into pump. This SME also aims to increase the market access for their products through traceability, farmer training and organic certification, achieved through funding from the KIEP 250+ project.
Water for the World (K) Services Ltd
Water for the World (W4W K) Services is a well-resourced technical partner for private clients, NGOs, and faith-based organizations, offering clean water, sanitation, energy, and construction services. W4W has expanded into water harvesting, purification, waterproofing, home solar solutions, and partnerships with global companies. W4W is targeting expansion in East Africa, specifically Uganda and Rwanda. They have developed a training curriculum for communities to ensure project sustainability, including pre-paid water ATMs with Maji Milele. W4W recently introduced an ERP system to support Customer Relationship Management, supply chain, logistics, and project management.

LES also offers regulatory compliance advice and energy consultancy services. They manufacture non-carbonized briquettes and pellets for industrial use mostly , however, they recently ventured into supplying the pellets to households and food vending businesses in low-income areas.
The KIEP 250 + project will assist Lean Energy Solutions Limited with reducing their operational costs, achieved through digitizing the boiler monitoring systems and implementing Kaizen principles.

Camino Ruiz sells fresh Tilapia, Ready to Eat Tilapia in 3 SKUs, Fried fish, Frozen tilapia fillet in 3 SKUs. Additionally, Camino Ruiz includes delivery services.
Camino Ruiz Agencies plans to automate business processes for streamlining, further develop a marketing strategy, and acquire export market certifications through the KIEP 250+ project.
Green Spoon Limited
Greenspoon is an online retail business that offers same day food deliveries in Nairobi and next day delivery nationwide. Their services are accessed either through our website or our mobile app. They retail dairy, meat, fruits and vegetables that can be traced to brands operating locally.
The KIEP 250+ project will enable Greenspoon Limited to increase innovation and productivity through improving energy efficiency, automation of supply chain management, and a brand realignment for enhanced visibility.
Bottle Logistics East Africa Limited
Bottle Logistics recovers glass waste for recycling and reuse. Their products include;
1. Glass cullet- Glass cullet is a raw material used as a substitute of sand in the production of new glass bottles and glass jars. The target market for the cullet are the glass manufacturing companies.
2. Glass aggregate- This is finely crushed glass, used as a substitute of sand in the construction industry. This product is in the pilot stage in partnership with 14 trees, a subsidiary of Lafarge industries.
3. Reusable glass bottles- Bottle Logistics recovers returnable glass bottles and washes them to the highest industrial standards for reuse. Their target market is the beverage industry.
Bottle Logistics East Africa Limited aims to increase productivity through the digitization and automation of business processes, certification for market expansion, and the development of a business plan with clear growth and marketing strategies. This will be achieved through funding from the KIEP 250+ project.
Avepo Enterprises Limited
Avepo Enterprises is an agricultural input supply company offering quality farm inputs, agronomic and veterinary Services in Siaya County. There are branches in Boro, Bondo, Ugunja, and Ndere. Avepo sells farm inputs and provides solutions to its clients through animal feeds, acaricides, dewormers, poultry products, mineral salts, veterinary ethicals, farm equipment and vaccines. They also provide support through farm visits, radio programs (Radio Mikaye FM), field days, agricultural exhibitions, farmers workshops, demostrations (Avepo Smart Farm), internship and attachments.
The KIEP 250+ project will enable Avepo Enterprises Limited to increase innovation and productivity by digitizing the farmer database, and developing standard operating procedures and a 3-year business plan.
Atlantis Life Science Ltd
Atlantis Life’s core business is providing product and services in agrochemical, veterinary and public health sectors. They source, manufacture and distribute these.
Their main customers are mainly agrovets distributors across the country, supermarkets and institutions. They source products from India, USA, Denmark, Egypt, China and locally.
Atlantis Life Science Limited will increase productivity and innovation through developing a new product named “Tefuran Dudu Dust”, obtain GMP documentation and automate the packaging line. This will be achieved through funding from the KIEP 250+ project.
Water Engineering and Pumping Ltd
Water Engineering offers a range of state-of-the-art water treatment technologies designed to purify and clean contaminated water from various sources, including industrial wastewater, municipal sewage, and agricultural runoff. Their solutions include chemical, physical, and biological treatments to remove impurities. They specialize in wastewater treatment systems that reduce the environmental impact of industrial and municipal discharges. Water Engineering tailored solutions comply with regulatory standards and focus on minimizing waste generation while maximizing resource recovery through processes such as recycling and reclamation. They provide expert environmental consulting services to help clients navigate regulatory requirements, assess environmental risks, and develop sustainable water management strategies. They collaborate with businesses, governments, and organizations to promote responsible water use.
The KIEP 250+ project will assist Water Engineering and Pumping Limited to increase productivity and efficiency through digitization of business processes and acquisition of ISO 17025 certification.
Polucon Services Kenya Limited
Polucon Services (K) Limited, is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company and accredited in respective fields and specializes in a diverse range of services including laboratory testing, inspection, verification, environmental monitoring, brand protection, as well as fumigation and pest management services. Their company is essentially a product safety, quality and standard conformity verification company that is internationally accredited. Polucon offers ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory testing services of consumer goods for local and export market. Polucon also offers ISO 17020 accredited inspection and verification services for both food and non- food commodities. They also run NEMA gazette and designated environmental monitoring laboratory. Polucon is also licensed and approved by KEPHIS and PCPB to carry out fumigation and pest management for export products. Their other services include: ISPM 15 – heat treatment of wood packaging materials used in export trade and anti-counterfeit for robust brand protection to fight trade pass offs, imitations as well as counterfeit goods.
Polucon Services Kenya Limited aims to enhance their competitiveness and revenue by optimization of the company’s business processes through personnel training and enhancing capabilities to conduct advanced mycotoxin analyses as required by international trade standards, achieved through the KIEP 250+ project.
Kananahu Contractors & General Supplies
Kananahu Contractors and General Supplies Limited is a civil engineering construction and consultancy firm that offers construction and consultancy services in the following areas; construction of highways, buildings and water supply systems, irrigation systems and water storage structures, feasibility and baseline studies for construction projects, hydrogeological and geotechnical surveys for borehole drilling works. The services resonate with the bottom-up economic model that fosters to elevate many marginalized communities of Kenya out of poverty.
Kananahu Contractors and General Supplies Limited aims to grow technologically, financially, and professionally through the KIEP 250+ project. This will be achieved by optimizing business processes, building staff technical capacity and upgrading water and irrigation engineering systems through CAD software.
Smart Logistics Solution Ltd
Smart Logistics Solution Ltd are a food processor dedicated to providing nutritious, convenient food products to Kenya’s low-and-middle income population. Their raw materials, mainly beans, millet, and orange-fleshed sweet potatoes, are sourced directly from contracted smallholder farmers in Kenya. They offer comprehensive services to these farmers, including climate-smart agricultural training, input provider connections, mechanization support, insurance solutions, and financial access. Smart Logistics currently supports 35,000 farmers in various Kenyan counties. Their processing facility in Machakos transforms raw materials into nourishing food items in three categories: Convenient Instant Meals, Nutritious Flour Blends, and Bean-Based Products.
The KIEP 250+ project will enable Smart Logistics Solutions Limited to increase productivity through product standardization, a market expansion initiative, and sustainable production optimization.
Metco Limited
Metco is a metal fabrication and general engineering workshop with capability in mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, wood, wire, glass. They provide fixtures and fittings and interior decor solutions for mainly B2B clients. Metco is KEBS certified for Storage Solutions, Racking, Shelving, Lockers, Bakery Equipment for local and export consumption. Their focus on quality and innovation has helped them to retain and acquire new customers.
Metco Limited aims to increase productivity through automating manufacturing processes, digitization of management processes, and capacity building of the team, all achieved through funding from the KIEP 250+ project.
Poa Internet Kenya Limited
Poa Internet Ltd is a budget-friendly Internet service provider, catering to individuals, households, and small businesses in Nairobi, particularly underserved communities. They provide affordable, unlimited Internet access via broadband services and public Wi-Fi hotspots. By purchasing bandwidth from established telecom companies and relaying it through their network of towers to customer antennas, clients can access the Internet via radio frequencies. Currently serving over 25,000 clients through about 200 towers in Nairobi, Poa is also expanding to other major urban areas in Kenya. In the coming 5 years, they have plans to extend their services to multiple African countries.
The KIEP 250+ project will enable Poa Internet Kenya Limited to increase productivity through improving operational efficiency through IT systems enhancements, and strategic market evaluation.
Aromakare Limited
Aromakare manufacture cosmetics, personal care and home care products.
Aromakare Limited aims to improve productivity, increase efficiency and enhance environmental sustainability. This will be achieved through automation of the manufacturing process, the development of a marketing strategy, and improving environmental compliance, achieved through funding from the KIEP 250+ project.
Hudson Agencies
Hudson Agencies custom make home, office and hotel quality furniture using locally sourced timber, wrot iron and experimenting on bamboo wood. They recurrently using CNC (Computer numeric machine to attain precision, standardization of furniture to achieve form/beauty).
The KIEP 250+ project will assist Hudson agencies to increase productivity through capacity building of staff and the digitization of production processes.
Merulands Poultry Centre Ltd

Merulands Poultry Centre Limited will increase revenues through the procurements and installation of a chicken meat refrigeration system, training and capacity building of staff on equipment maintenance and livestock husbandry, and technical support on establishing a certified slaughterhouse. This will be completed through the KIEP 250+ project.
Jade Fresh Ltd
Jade Fresh contract farmers in various counties to farm and supply our products as per the required standards. They also manage the production by providing technical assistance, training of GAP as well as safe pesticides use, harvest and post-harvest handling. They supervise pesticides used as well as application on the planting programs given.
Their products are mainly fresh vegetables; French beans, garden peas, mange tout, sugar snaps, baby corn, lemongrass, chilies, baby vegetables (auberges, courgettes, carrots, okra), Passion fruits, avocado, and herbs. They consolidate these at our packing facility then package them according to our clients’ specifications then ship them to Europe, UK and the Middle East.
The KIEP 250+ project will allow Jade Fresh Limited to increase the productivity and quality of fresh vegetables, herbs and fruits through the installation of a solarized climate smart agricultural system, technical training of farmers, provide technical agronomy extension services, and a new product branding and marketing strategy.
Nutri nuts and fruits limited
Nutri Nuts is a leading exporter of the finest quality nuts and dried fruit from Kenya. Its main export markets are the USA, Canada, Italy among others. The processing factory is strategically located on the slopes of Mt. Kenya close to the farms. The company encourages and promotes sustainable climate smart farming practices and has endeavoured to support the local farmers and economy at large.
Nutri Nuts and Fruits Limited aims to increase revenues through the development of a 2 year plan, procurement of a bio-gas powered boiler and technical support to existing farmers, achieved through funding from the KIEP 250+ project.
Tropical Mac EPZ Limited
Tropical Mac EPZ’s mission is to process and export high quality and nutritious macadamia nuts while ensuring a sustainable supply from thousands of small holder farmers so that the end consumer can enjoy a safe and healthy snack. The KIEP 250+ project will enable Tropical Mac EPZ Limited to increase the productivity and quality of macadamia nuts and oils through technical support on pharmaceutical-based macadamia production, obtaining oil and nut certification, procurement of macadamia de-husking equipment, and capacity building of staff.

Mango Limited is a furniture manufacturing firm. They primarily fabricate furniture for hotels, offices and households. Their products are made from timber, manufactured boards, foam and steel. These include, restaurant chairs & tables, beds, household dining, wardrobes, office desks to mention a few. Mango Ltd have a standard range but can also custom make in line with the client requirements if the quantities permit.
Secondly, Mango offer refurbishing and re-upholstery services of worn furniture to look as new where the structural integrity of the furniture items is still intact.
Mango Limited aims to improve their business strategy, develop and implement a marketing strategy, design and implement an automated and improved system, and the diversification info manufactured boards’ furniture products through funding from the KIEP 250+ project.

The KIEP 250+ project will enable Impact Chemicals Limited to increase productivity through the acquisition and implementation of a liquid filling, capping, and labeling line, and by undertaking market development for new antiseptic products.
Westmainland Distributors Limited
Their core business is distribution of Coca-Cola products within a given territory. Westmainland Distributors Limited will increase revenue through the development of a route optimization and inventory management system, training staff, and the implementation of a retailer recruitment strategy. This will be achieved through the KIEP 250+ project.

They process and pack 3 days Fresh milk & 90 days UHT Milk and High Value Dairy(Yoghurt , Mala) products which are distributed through various route to market channels within the country (Direct sales and distributors).
Narumoro Dairy Farms Limited aims to increase productivity through the KIEP 250+ project. This will be achieved by the design and installation of a milk traceability system, and undertaking market research and new product development.
WEEE Centre
WEEE Centre Ltd conducts electronic asset recovery; and ensures functional electronic, equipment, parts and accessories are recovered and reused. It also provides secure data destruction; destruction of confidential information on the electronic media, leaving no residue data and ensuring that the data is irretrievable by any means. It also conducts e- waste recycling and ensures decommissioned parts and fractions are processed and recycled to form raw materials for the manufacturing industry. WEEE Centre monitors and creates awareness in different sectors through training on the safe e-waste handling, storage and disposal methods and their adverse effects on the public health and environment if not properly disposed.
The KIEP 250+ project will assist the WEEE centre in increasing revenue through the digitization of business processes and the development of business improvement strategies.

Glerian Limited manufactures and supplies hygiene products with a bias towards health and environment safety. Glerian also stocks and supplies industrial raw materials and chemicals and provides laundry and cleaning services to hospitals and other institutions.
Glerian stocks raw materials for making detergents and related materials at our shop in Nairobi, CBD and trains customers including women groups to make simple products.
Glerian Limited aims to increase productivity through the KIEP 250+ project. This will be achieved through the installation of an automated production line, the digitization of business processes, and ISO certifications.
Recolte Limited
Recolte Limited addresses the gaps in Trade Finance Industry by making available affordable financing and bank guarantees to thousands of SMEs in Eastern Africa in the following area: infrastructure, education, health, manufacturing, agriculture and renewable energy. Recolte Limited products are targeted at the SMEs market in Eastern Africa with a view to expanding across the continent. Products include bid bonds/security, performance bonds, advance payment guarantees, bank guarantees/sblc/lc, contract financing, invoice discounting, supply chain financing, purchase order financing and project management and advisory.
The KIEP 250+ project will enable Recolte Limited through enhancing product innovation and expansion of product lines in the firm’s portfolio. This will be achieved by the installation of a Project Portfolio Management tool, solar powered CCTV technology, and the enhancement of business fundamentals.
